On ThE rOmAnTiC fRoNT...

'D' has a girlfriend, 'F'. She is a beautiful and clever lass from the Isle of Lewis. She is doing a Mathematics degree at the same university as 'D'. They are both in their second year and have been together now for some 6mths. Being the smashing Mum that l am, l call up often to see how they are doing.
They spent Valentine's Day in Edinburgh- going to visit the dungeons and zoo. Ok, not the most romantic but hey, they're having fun. Next time l'm going with them-ha! (that was a hopeful but hollow type of laugh by the way)

'M' has a new boyfriend, 'D'. He is 6ft4in so they make a striking couple- 'M' being over the 6ft herself! She is doing well with university and seems settled living in the city. l miss her and still worry much because l'm a smashing Mum but am happy she's doing so well. This pic was taken a few weeks back- l think she looks stunning but then l would say that being her mother and all.
Did l mention that Mother's day is not far off and that l am a smashing Mum?
